Okay, so we were about to say our family prayers when, for some totally random beyond all random subjects, we started talking about umbilical cords. If you don't know what that is, please, go to a parent or doctor and ask them to bash you over the head with a gopher. So, my brother was like:
"Doesn't the food go through the umbilical cord to the baby?"
"Actually, it's blood," my mom said, "the nutrients are in the blood so, the mom and baby share the blood to get food."
I did a huge theater gasp. "GAH! VAMPIIIIIRE!!!"
My mom and dad stared at me for about ten seconds, and we all started laughing like crazy. Yeah, I know I'm special. :)
