Bad Person

I am a bad person. I am on blogger at school! GASP! Oh well. I am bored out of my mind. I am in keyboarding, and nothing amazing is happening. Just typing, and my pinkie is killing me. School can be fun at times, but other times, it is just plain stupid. I listen to 1079 The Mix while I am here, and I sometimes get sick of the songs. So I went to Playlist, and I am entertaining myself there. Well, gotta go!

Twilight, AGAIN!

Okay, I am going to start with the not so latest thing that has happened. AKA Second time seeing Twilight. Well, one of my good friends, Chase, (PS It's a SHE! She hates it when people thinks she's a boy. I would be ticked off too!) had a birthday on the fifth of November, and we had not given her a present yet, mainly because she didn't have a birthday party. I know, that sounds lame, but, oh well. ANYWAY, my mom had a brilliant idea. Since Chase hadn't seen Twilight yet, we could take her! Her mom said yes. We were going to kidnap her, but, it didn't work out. Dang it. So, instead we told her, and we also invited my cousin/friend and Chase's friend, Sadie. We left, and on the way there, we argued about which Cullen boy was the best. I said that Emmett, Carlisle, and Jasper where, and Sadie said that Jasper was ugly (I gasped when she said that) and that she liked Edward and Emmett. Chase sided with Sadie, but I thought I was the coolest, thinking that Jasper was the best. Because he is. He is the best in the baseball game. Haaaaaa! We got in the movie theater just as the previews were starting, and we sat down with our large popcorn bowl and drinks. Sadie brought the movie theater cups. They were HUGE! Anyway, we watched the movie, and it was amazing, but, a little dramatic thing happened with Sadie. I'll tell you.

I know that all of you have either read the books or seen the movie, and if you haven't, skip over this part right now. I don't want to spoil it for you, but, you can't blame me if I ruined something for you, because I gave you fair warning.

When Bella goes to the ballet studio and James is waiting for her, Sadie was starting to freak out. She had seen the movie before, but she was really tired when she saw it, so she wasn't paying attention to what was going on at this part.
"Sadie, are you okay?" I whispered.
"Yeah..." she whispered back, eyes glued to the screen.
"Okay..." I said, not believing her.
When James broke her leg, and she screamed, Sadie was breaking out in sweat. She covered her mouth with her hands. Since we had cleaned out the large popcorn bowl, I picked it up from the ground and shoved it underneath her chin. Literally shoved it. She shook her head no.
"Sadie, don't be stupid!" I whisper yelled, "You look like you are going to barf!"
"I feel like I'm going to!" she whispered.
"Take the bowl!" I whispered.
"No!" she whispered back.
When Edward and James started fighting, she started shaking and turning very hot.
I started giggling because I was nervous, and Chase and my mom weren't paying attention to what Sadie was doing. She started flipping out, shaking and sweating. She had broken into a fever. I was freaking out too, because I was doing whatever it took to make her feel better. And I didn't want her to throw up on me, so I held the bowl in my lap. Finally, I had a brilliant idea. I put my hand over her eyes so she couldn't see what was going on. I stopped looking too, because when they rip James apart, it is gross, and I can't watch stuff like that. Nightmares. She was still shaking and sweating, but her fever was going down. This whole time, Chase and my mom had no idea what was going on.
"Don't watch!" I said.
"I'm not gonna!" she said back. I still held on the the bowl, just in case.
When it was over, I peeked, and pulled her hand away from her eyes.
"It's done," I said.
Sadie sighed, and stopped shaking.
"I'm fre-e-zing!" she shuddered.
I sighed. She was sweating like, two seconds before. When the movie was over, my mom was cheerful. "Wasn't that a good movie! I liked it the second time we saw it!"
Sadie and I looked at eachother, and burst out laughing. We giggled all the way back to the car, explaining what had happened.
"Whoa! I didn't notice you guys doing that at all!" Chase said.
"Then you are deaf, because we were flipping out!" I joked.
Chase laughed.
Phew! At least Sadie felt better after it was done.

Thank you for those who listened to me, and scrolled down to here. See the movie and read the books. They are amazing!

Grounded....Or Not?

I have no idea which one I am. Grounded or not?? My mom is still considering. If I am, then I won't be able to go to Twilight (again!) with Chase and Sadie. Since we didn't give Chase a birthday present (and I still feel bad about it) and she hasn't seen Twilight yet, we were thinking that we could take her as a little not-so-surprise birthday thing! You see, it all started this morning with Charlie Brown, an upset stomach, and a bowl of cereal.

FLASH BACK BEGINS

A couple days ago, for YW (Young Woman's, if you don't know) we went Ice Skating. It was SO much fun! While we were there, one of the leaders, Sister Robinson, gave us each a dollar bill and we could go buy some soda. I got a Fanta Orange. It was delicious, but I didn't finish it. When it was time to go, we piled in the car, laughing and having fun. Chase was the first to say that her stomach hurt on the way back, and then Sadie. I thought that they were joking. Then, dun dun dun dunnnnn, it struck me. I think since that I was drinking soda in the car, and the ride home was bumpy, that Carbon Dioxide wanted to get out, but my stomach wouldn't let it, so I had a killer stomach ache. I felt like I was going to throw up. And it hit me the worst. And I have a weak stomach.
"Lizzy, are you okay? You look a little green," Sadie said.
"Uuuunnngggghhh," I groaned.
"What's wrong?" Chase asked.
"Tummy," I said, and burped a little bit.
Chase started laughing at my burp, but Sadie was serious.
I leaned my head back on the seat, and closed my eyes, trying to ignore my rumbling stomach. When we got home, Chase and Sadie came over to my house. Chase stayed for only a little bit because she had to get something, but Sadie stayed.
"Just throw it up already!" Sadie joked, trying to make me feel better.
"I can't," I moaned, "It doesn't want to come out. I think it wants to give me pain as a punishment for drinking and driving."
Sadie laughed. I chuckled a bit, but then 'unghed' again.
I was laying down on the arm of the couch, and my dad was distracted watching Dancing With the Stars.
Sadie stayed with me a bit, but then said that she had to go.
"Bye," I said quietly.
"See ya later," she said, and left.
I quickly ran upstairs, and pulled on my PJ's, and instanly fell asleep. I didn't get much sleep that night, becuase of my tummy. When I woke up this morning, I felt a little better, but was really tired.
I went downstairs and mom wanted to watch, It's Thanksgiving, Charlie Brown! I agreed, and turned on the TV and the show. After a little while, my mom left the room, and it was just me, Emma, and Elena watching the show. Then, my mom said that I needed to eat my cereal, because I hadn't, and it was already nine-thirty. I said okay, and then returned to the show. I got distracted, and completely forgot that I had to eat. I was also really tired, so I didn't want to get up from the couch, because I had like, no sleep that night.
"Lizzy?" my mom called from upstairs.
"Yeah?" I said.
"Have you eaten your cereal yet?"
I thought she said, have you started your cereal yet. So I got up and pulled out a bowl.
"Um, yes," I said. Then I realized that I was mistaken. "Wait, what did you say?"
"I said, have you eaten your cereal yet!" my mom shouted.
"Oh! No..." I said quietly.
"What?!" my mom shouted. "I am so sick and tired of you getting distracted, and not paying attention to any word I say! You know what? You are grounded!"
"What?!" I shouted myself.
"You heard me!" she said, and closed her door.
I sulkily poured some cereal and chewed furiously. I knew I deserved punishment, but being grounded seemed a little too harsh. I thought about how to get out of this while I chewed. Well, I could do extra chores, or do chores with out being asked. Yes, that seemed like a good idea. I got up and unloaded the dishwasher. Then I swept, swiffered, and mopped the kitchen floor. (Remember, I was not asked to do any of this!) Then I folded my dad's clean work clothes, and then started washing the red laundry, and then sorted all of the dirty clothes. We have a laundry shoot, and the clothes were going up it. That is a LOT! I was then satisfied with my work. I went upstairs, and then told my mom. She congradulated me, and then started considering wether or not I am grounded or not.
FINALLY!! My mom said I'm not grounded! I can go see Twilight!! YAY!!
From a happy Lizzy,

Feel-Goods are Feelin' Good, and a Babysitting Catastrophe

I feel cured!
I'm not sad anymore. Mel and I worked things out, and we are amazing now!
OMGOSH!!! I AM SO HAPPY!! I saw Twilight with Melia and her mom and my mom (so if you are wondering why I wasn't at school, and neither was Melia, well....we were at Twilight!!) and before hand we had a sleepover, and then we went to go see Twilight. It was amazing! I want to go see it again, and so does my mom and Melia. We should go again sometime. I also want to see it again with my cousin, Sadie Buckles. We just found out that we were cousins a couple weeks ago. We have the same great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandma! 9 greats. She's Rebecca Nurse, an accused woman back in the 16oo's of being a witch. Oh well. I bet she's in a happier place now. And we aren't just 9th cousins, twice removed or anything. We are just 9th cousins. The end! I am soo happy! I will also probably see Twilight with my next door neighbor, Chase. She's awesome!
Yesterday was a sad loss, but was fun all the same.
If you know me well, I am very irresponsible when it comes to keeping my room clean. It is just impossible for me to keep it clean for about two days. Then it gets all messed up again. I think I have too much stuff...
Anyway, my little sister likes bringing in her friends to come play, in my room. It sets me off, because she pulls out all of my stuff, and never puts it back again. I can mess up my room, and no one else can! Anywho, the day before yesterday, Emma (my little sister)'s friend came over, and they pulled out all of my American Girl stuff, and then pulled out her dolls and my dolls, and started playing hair stylist. They grabbed one of my highlighters, and started coloring in the dolls' hair. My mom got really mad. The highlighter was green.
When her friend left, she didn't clean up one bit. My dad saw that my room was a mess, and I had to clean it. All of it. Not just the floor, but the dresser, the desk, my vanity thing, and under both of my beds. (My little sister shares a room with me). Oh, and my closet. I had to make a big pile and then put everything in the pile in its correct place. Creating the pile took me about an hour. And let me tell you, the pile was HUGE! It went up to my knees, and was about three feet long. I put everything away, which took me about two hours, and then had to vaccuum it. Then I put away the vaccuum, and asked my dad if I could go over to Sadie's house. He said sure, and I whooped, and then ran over to her house. We painted in her basement, and went on her roof. (Don't tell her parents, or my parents! :D) We talked, and did other random stuff. Then I had to go home and babysit. That was a nightmare. Let me tell you what happened.

*****************************

I went over to babysitting, and I was pretty happy that my room was finished and everything. The family has three kids. The oldest is James, and he is nine. He's my brothers best friend. The middle child is Brielle, and she is five. She's my little sisters best friend. And the youngest is Braylee. She is one, and so adorable! She has the cutest nick names. They are Bray-Bray, and Bee-Ray. Oh, and they also have this little dog named Gidget, and she adores me. When I walked in the house, she ran up and started licking me and barking happily. She is like a black terrier or something along those lines. Brielle was at the neighbors house playing, and James was at my house playing with Eric, my brother. So I had Braylee all to myself, and Gidget. We were pretty happy. Then my little sister came over to play with Brielle, so I went over to the neighbors, and she had to come home anyway, and Emma played with Brielle. Brielle can be very talk-backative, and she is rude to you sometimes. I can have fun with her, but if you tell her something that she can't do, she starts having a tantrum and getting in a fit and all that stuff. She is also a little spoiled. She has her own TV and DVD player in her room, and has lots of princess stuff. She basically has what ever she wants.
ANYWAY, Emma and Brielle were playing with Braylee, and I was playing with Gidgie, but keeping an eye on them every now and them.
In their basement, they have a playroom with two levels. There is a first level, and a second level. You climb a small ladder to get to the top, and to get down, you slide down a bright yellow slide. Braylee loves that slide, so I would hold on to her, and slide her down. She giggles and always wants to go on it again. In that playroom, Brielle was getting bossy, and taking charge, and talking back at me. Brielle was climbing up the slide, and then when Emma followed her up the slide, Brielle yelled at her, and sayed that no one was allowed to climb up the slide.
"Emma! STOP IT! You can't climb up the slide!" Brielle yelled. My little sister Emma is very timid, and stopped immediatly.
"Brielle, but you just climbed up the slide," I told her gently.
"Yeah, but....-" she thought of something to say, "But it'll break!"
"Then you shouldn't climb up the slide either," I reminded her.
"Well, I own this house, and you don't, so you can't tell me what to do!" Brielle said rudely.
"But your parents put me in charge of this house for a couple hours, so I can tell you what to do, okay?" I said softly.
"So?" she shouted.
Braylee was giggling, squirting drool all over the place.
"So, I need to tell you what to do so you can be safe," I reminded her again.
"But...!" she said.
She finally let it go, and then climbed up to the top of the slide, and then put Braylee on her lap, and slid down.
Braylee loved it.
Emma walked up to me.
"Lizzy, can I slide down the slide with Braylee, too?" she whispered in my ear.
"Sure, and I'll stand by you just in case," I said.
Emma happily climbed up the ladder and sat on the top of the slide. I put Braylee on her lap. Brielle noticed.
"HEY!!! YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!" she screamed at me.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because, its not safe!" she said.
"I'm standing right here, and you just did it."
"Yeah, but, I'm her sister, and I can do what I want with her!"
"Emma would like a turn, and Braylee will be just fine," I said.
"No she won't! Emma will drop her, and hurt her!" Brielle shouted.
Emma's face turned red.
"Brielle, I'm standing right here. I assure you that everything will be fine," I said gently.
Emma slid down the slide, and as I predicted, nothing happened that was terrible. It went smoothly.
"Fine!" Brielle said rudely. Let me remind you, she's five!
I was getting a little annoyed at her talk, but I ignored it.
Brielle stomped to her room, and Emma followed, and Braylee toddled behind me when I followed them.
I walked in her room, and noticed this little joystick thing, with the Disney Princess logo on this.
"What's this?" I asked, picking up the joystick.
"Oh!" Brielle forgot to be mad at me, "That's my game!"
She turned on the TV and plugged in the joystick. Tinkling music turned on, and the Disney Princesses appeared on the screen.
"Cool," I said.
She started the game, and she played as the Sleeping Beauty fairies, waking up the sleeping subjects. Emma sat on the bed, watching her eagerly. After about 10 minutes, Emma whispered, "Lizzy, can I have a turn?"
"Sure, Emma," I said.
"Hey Brielle," I said.
She ignored me, too absorbed in her game.
"Brielle," I called louder.
She ignored me again.
"Brielle!" I practically shouted.
"What?" she said rudely, annoyed that she was interuppted from the game.
"Emma would like a turn," I said.
"Yeah, so?" she replied.
"Can you share, and let her play now?" I asked.
She ignored me again.
Emma's face turned red again, almost sent to tears.
"Brielle!" I said, my patience fading.
"What?" she shouted.
"Emma would like a turn," I said.
"I heard you the first time!" she said, annoyed.
"Then why don't you answer me!" I said, my patience almost gone.
She ignored me again.
Emma started to cry.
"Brielle!" Emma sobbed, "I am sad! I want to play!"
"Brielle, please share," I said, trying to calm myself down.
She ignored me.
Emma started to cry harder.
"Emma, do you want to go home?" I asked, trying to calm her down.
"No! I want to play!" she cried.
"I don't care if you go home, Emma!" Brielle said.
That set me off. I grabbed the phone, and dialed my number sharply.
"Hello?" my mom answered the phone. Emma was sitting on my lap, sniffing. (I was in a different room, so Brielle couldn't hear our conversation.)
"Hi mom. Emma wants to go home," I said.
Emma nodded, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Okay. What's the problem?" my mom asked.
I told her what happened.
"Then you lay the foot down, Lizzy. Either you let her share, or turn it off," my mom advised.
"Okay," I said, and hung up.
"Mommy will get you soon," I told Emma.
She nodded again.
I walked in Brielles room again. She was still playing the game.
"Brielle," I said, annoyed, "Either you give Emma a turn right now, or you turn it off! Which do you choose?"
She ignored me.
I stood in front of the TV, blocking her view, but she just leaned around me, still playing it.
"I am giving you one more chance!" I almost shouted. I was over reacting just a little bit, but all the times that she was rude me, in all of the babysitting jobs, my emotions were finally getting the better of me.
"Either-you-turn-off-that-game-or-you-give-the-stick-to-Emma," I said, my voice shaking. I was over reacting.
She ignored me.
I exploded.
I turned around, and turned off the TV.
She screamed.
"HEY!!! YOU ARE THE WORST BABYSITTER IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!" she shrieked, and collapsed on the bed, sobbing.
The entire time, Braylee had a Snow White in her mouth, and sucking on it, staring at us.
"If you turn that TV on while I am upstairs, you are going to be in Time-Out," I said, and left the room, Braylee toddling behind me, and Emma sniffing, holding my hand. Someone was at the door, and Gidget started barking.
It was my dad. Emma ran to him, and sobbed in his legs. He looked at me. I shrugged. Braylee giggled again.
"Bye dad," I said, "I love you."
"Have fun," he said, and I closed the door.
"Haaaa-goo," Braylee said.
I smiled and picked her up. Brielle came upstairs, wiping her face with her sleeve.

Couple hours later, the parents came home.
"So, how were the kids?" they asked.
I shrugged. "Okay, I guess," I said, and smiled to myself.

********************************

When I came home, I called Sadie, and Chase came over too. We went to Chase's house, and played Rock Band the rest of the night. It was fun. Then Sadie left, and we watched Pirates One. It was pretty good. But we only saw the first 20 minutes before my dad came and picked me up. I found out that BYU lost sadly. Ah well. There's next year.
Ciao for now!

The Great Depression (In My Saddness)

Hi.
Depressed speaking.
I feel so left out sometimes. I mean, we all feel left out sometimes, but this left-outedness was so overwhelming (in my part) that I was very upset and frustrated. It all started two nights ago, with basements, and Kung-Fu.
*flash back begins*

I was a very happy person, two days ago, and my day was going perfectly. I found out I got 100% on my math test, and it was an A-Day, so I had English with all my friends. As you can see, I was cheerful.
When I got home from school, my hair wind-swept and my cheeks pink, I got a phone call. It was from one of my best friends, Melia. (She has a blog! Go to www.cheersoccer.blogspot.com!)
"Hello?" I said into the phone.
"Hey Liz!" It was Melia.
"Hi Mel! What's up?" I asked.
"Oh, well Ashley (my friend) and I are going to watch Kung-Fu Panda in my basement. Do you want to come over and watch it with us?" Melia said.
"Sure!" I said excitedly, "Let me ask my mom."
I put the phone down.
"Hey mom! Melia is wondering if I can go over to her house and hang out. Can I go?" I called.
"First you need to finish your homework!" my mom reminded me.
"Okay," I said, and told Melia.
"Lizzy, come down as soon as you finish your homework, okay?"
"Okay!" I said, and hung up.
I get distracted easily. If you know me well, you would know. When it was almost 5:30, and I was finishing up my last problem, Melia called.
"Lizzy, what is taking you so long? We are gonna start the movie with out you if you don't hurry!" Melia said.
"I was finishing up my last problem when you so rudely interrupted me!" I said jokingly.
"Okay, bye!" she said quickly, and hung up.
I finished my problem and piled into the car.
"Com on mom! Melia is waiting!" I shouted out the car door.
"I'm coming, I'm coming," said my mom.
We finally pulled out of the driveway and drove down to Melia's house.
"By mom. Thanks for letting me go," I said, getting out of the car.
"No problem. Bye honey!"
"Bye mom!" I said, and knocked on Melia's door.
She answered the door, and we ran downstairs and watched the movie. Then we had to stop the movie in the middle, and go to Lone Peak High School and give Tanner (her older brother) dinner because he was at a play rehearsal. We came back home and finished the movie right when my mom came to pick me and Ashley up.
"Hey Melia," I said while walking out her front door, "Do you think you can hang out tomorrow?"
"I'm not sure," she said, looking at her mom who was standing behind her.
"Do you think I could come home with you tomorrow?" I asked.
"I don't know," she said.
"Then maybe you could come home with me!" I said.
I looked over my shoulder and yelled. "Hey mom, can Melia come home with me tomorrow?"
"I don't know!" she yelled back.
"Lizzy, I'll call you in the morning. I really need to go pee!" she said.
"Oh!" I laughed, "Okay, bye!"
She closed the door and left, and we dropped Ashley off at her house, and drove home. The next day, I waited before school by the phone, waiting for Melia to call me.
What is taking her so long? I thought.
"Lizzy, you need to go!" my mom said, and pushed me out the sliding glass door with goodbye's, I love you's and see you after school's.

When I got to school, I ran into Melia.
"Melia, why didn't you call me?" I asked her.
"Oh, sorry Lizzy!" she said, "Our bus was late, and we had to wait outside for it to come. And I slept in!"
"Oh, okay," I said, and let the subject drop.
We went to PE, and Melia's cheer friend, Jessica, called her in the PE locker room.
"Hey Melia, since we don't have Flyerz today, do you think that we can hang out after school?" she asked.
"Sorry Jessica, but I am already playing with Lizzy after school," Melia told her.
"Oh, okay! Maybe another time," Jessica said.

When PE was done and we were changing in the locker room, Jessica had a great idea.
"Hey, how about we go to Jump On It over the weekend, together!" she said.
"Yeah!" Melia and I agreed.
"Okay!" Jessica said, and I left the locker room feeling very happy.

After school, I was expecting Melia to call, since she didn't before school. I finished my jobs, and sat waiting by the phone. A half an hour passed, and no call came from Melia. Finally, when I couldn't take it any longer, I called her house.
Nobody answered.
I was a little worried.
I tried calling again, and her mom answered the phone on the last ring.
"Hi, is Melia there?" I asked.
"No, she isn't. May I take a message?" her mom asked.
Things started going downhill from there.
"Um, well, this is Lizzy. Do you know where she is?" I asked, spirits sinking. She had promised to play with me after school!
"Oh yes! She is at Jump On It," her mom said.
I had a feeling she was with another friend, even though she promised.
My nose started to stuff up.
"Oh..." I said in a small voice, "could you tell her that I called?"
"Yes, she will be back at 6:00. I'll tell her to call you," her mom replied.
"Okay...bye..." I said, and quickly hung up. Tears were welling up in my eyes. It hadn't been the last time someone broke a promise to me.
I ran upstairs.
"Mom!" I shouted.
"What?" she said.
"Melia is at Jump On It, and I wasn't invited, and she promised that she would play with me, and that she would call me, but she didn't, and she's not getting back by six!" I cried.
"Oh..." my mom took me in her arms, and I sobbed into her shoulder.
"You have plenty of other friends, like Sadie and Ashley B.," she reminded me.
"Yeah," I said, wiping my nose and eyes on my sleeve. I took in a big, shaky breath.
"Okay..." I sighed.
I just watched TV, waiting until six to come. Six came and went, and no call from Melia ever came. It was past six thirty when I broke down again. I was thinking that maybe she was avoiding me, or that she didn't want to hang out with me, and just said that, or maybe she just forgot all about her promise to me, and decided to go to Jump On It with another friend, and didn't hear that I called her house, wanting to know where she was, and why she didn't call me in the first place. I started to cry again, and ran to my room and sobbed into my pillow. My mom heard me and came in again. She rubbed my back for a while, and then gave me a hug.
"It's okay, Lizzy," she said, trying to comfort me.
"Sometimes-" I paused. Then I said this quickly, relieved to get it out of my system.
"Sometimes I feel like Melia doesn't want to play with me, and sometimes whenever I go over to her house, tons of other people call, and she invites them over too when I just want to play with her alone, and then I just feel left out because everybody else is swarming around her because they are friends with her too, and-" I paused to take a breath. "I am just so scared to tell her that I want to be with her alone, and just play with her, and sometimes, she just forgets that she had plans with me, and goes off and plays with another friend! I just want to crawl under a rock!" I sobbed.
"Lizzy, I've told you that you have other friends too. Why don't you play with Chase?" Right when my mom said that, a knock came on the door.
"I'll get it," I sniffed.
I walked down stairs, and lo and behold, it was Chase.
I sniffed happily.
"Hi Lizzy. Um, are you okay?" she asked sympathetically.
"Yeah," I said, wiping my nose on my sleeve.
"Oh, I was just wondering if you wanted to play..." she trailed off.
"Yes! I would love to play! I need a friend!" I said, my spirits rising.

Well, at least Chase came to my rescue. That whole time while I was at Chase's house, I always expected my mom to call and say that Melia called, but, she never did. I still feel a little put down, but that was yesterday, and I just want to talk to Melia about it. Let her know how I feel when she does things like that. And ask her to remember to not do that again. But I don't know how to do it. I need help. Email me if you have any suggestions, or I'll allow comments. Most likely, the comments thing.
Okay well, C ya l8ter!
Ciao for now,
Lizzy

Bookworm

As you all know, I am the biggest, fattest bookworm ever. There may be a few exceptions though. But anyway, I have so many books I want to read. My mom went to the library, and she found this little brochure thing and it has fantasy books listed for teens. So, what I will do, is I will list all the books that I want to read, the author, and a little description that they have listed. Okay, ready??? I thought you were.

  1. Golden - Cameron Dokey [Rapunzel has only two nights and one day in which to free a girl from a curse.]

  2. Shadow Spinner - Susan Fletcher [When Marjan, a thirteen year-old crippled girl, joins the Sultan's harem in ancient Persia, she gathers for Shahrazad the stories which will save the queens life.]

  3. Dragon Slippers - Jessica Day George [Orphaned after a fever epidemic, Creel befriends a dragon and unkowningly inherits an object that can either save or destroy her kingdom.]

  4. Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow - Jessica Day George [When an isbjorn promises that her family will become rich if only the lass will accompany him to his castle, she doesn't hesitate. Halloween!

I don't know what I should be for Halloween. I was going to go to the Hale Center Theater with my friend Jannessa, but they said they couldn't get us an appointment. Ugh! That got us a little upset, but then my friends came up with the idea that we could all be fairies and one of us would be Mother Nature. Guess what? I'm MOTHER NATURE!! Woo! But my mom isn't to happy about it. She says that I either have to rent a costume, or buy one, cause she doesn't want to make one, I think. Well, my dad is getting upset, so I G2G. See ya later!
Ciao for now!

Happy Labor Day!

Today is Labor Day, for those of you who just tried to go to school. School is out on Labor Day. Happy! Anywho, my friend, Melia, and I just got off the phone, and Melia's probably gonna come over here. Happy again! My brother was being mean. Humph. Not so happy... :( Anywho again, I made this little collage thing that I'm gonna put in my locker, and I kinda amped up Melia's picture a little bit. Wanna see it? Okay, since you insist. Humph, you can't. It won't work. Oh well! Anyway, I'm probably gonna have the house to myself, since my mom is going to take Eric to see Prince Caspian. I've seen that movie like, 3 times! So I'm (obviously) not going. Melia is probably gonna come over here instead, so I won't be bored outta my bucket. Melia and I are making a song for us. As in, choose a song we both like and turn it into 'our song'. ;D. Anyway. I love this song called Viva la Vida. That's called Live the Life, in espanol! I love that song. It's by a band called Coldplay. Melia's brother also likes that song. Guess what? SAM IS OFF TO COLLEGE!!! Sniff.. Sam is my cousin. He's 18. Oh, small world story for ya. The day before Sam was going to college, I said:
"Hey Sam, guess what?"
"What?" he replied.
"My friend, Melia Spears older brother, Riley Spear is going to college tomorrow too, so if you meet him, you'll know that his younger sister and I are BFF's!" I said happily.
"Really? Did you know that we hometeach a family called the Spears in our ward? They told us they have a grandson named Riley who's going to college tomorrow too! And, did you know that Sydney (his older sister) was roommates with somebody named ? Spear?" ( I forgot her name)
How weird is that????
Well, ciao for now!

Oopsie on Monsters Inc. Quiz

On my new Monsters Inc. Quiz, I messed up on an answer. The real one is Plastic Bat on question 10, but I accidentally did Aluminum Bat. Sorry.

How well do YOU know Monsters Inc.

How well do you know Monsters Inc.?
1) At the very beginning, Mike is stading by Sulley's bed doing what?
Jumping up and down on the bed screaming, "WAKE UP!!!"
Impersonating the alarm clock.
Sleeping.
Mike never stands by his bed. Why on earth would he do that?

Apologize

I'm sorry for not blogging for a while, my dear readers, because 1) I completely forgot I had a blog, and 2) I've been so freakin' busy doing nothing, that I haven't had the time.
But the upside is, when I wasn't posting, I went to Pennsylvania and HERSHEYPARK!!! It was fun! And then my friend Chloe, who is in the same room as me right now, is here and she lives in Minnisota. (Is that how you spell that?) Oh well. Chloe just told me that she just found somethin behind the mattress that we are sleeping on. If you have been to my house, then you know that there is a computer room, and a big empty space, and then the bench and window. We moved a mattress from the basement to the empty space, and we have been sleeping on it. It was very comfy. Okay, since you who are reading this, you are the ONLY people reading, I have a little secret. When I get really hot while I'm sleeping, I take off my pants. :D I know, it's embarrassing, but I die if I don't. And when I woke up, I realized that my pants were off, and that the sheet that was on top of me was slipping off. (You couldn't see my underwear. Phew!) And my dad was staring at me through the glass door! And Chloe's mom is here too! So I quickly slipped on my pants and fell back asleep again. Oh, another secret. I convinced my mom to buy some Top Ramen. She did, and the reason why I wanted her to buy it was, because, I like sneaking a packet up to my room, stay up late reading, and eating it. Plain! With the seasoning sprinkled on top of the dry noodles. It is actually quite satisfying. But a little salty, but, I can live with that. Just don't tell my parents that I do that. I'm not allowed to bring food up to my room. Hee hee!
Well, ciao for now!

Night Terrors

I got so scared last night. I still am shaking from the experience. No, I did not get a night terror, but my little sister did. Well, we think that she did. She had them twice last night. One around 11:00 and another around 1:00. On the one at 11:00, she 'woke' up screaming. (It is nearly impossible to fully rouse somebody if they are having a night terror.) My instincts told me that she had thrown up, which I had experienced with her screaming before, but that is a different story. (She also sleeps in the same room as me.) (She's 5.) So I said, "Emma, did you throw up? Are you okay? What happened?!" Emma didn't answer; she just kept screaming and yelling. Then my dad came running in my room. He asked, "Why is she crying? Did she throw up?" I said, "I don't know!" Dad sat down on her bed, and he asked her if she threw up. She just kept yelling. Then dad cradled her in his arms, and asked her what her dream was about. Dad and I only caught 'Chuck E. Cheeses'. (We had gone there that day for my brothers baseball party.) Dad finally was able to calm her down, and we were able to go back to sleep. Then at 1:00, she was worse. Instead of just screaming, it was blood curdling. She screamed and yelled and shrieked like the world was going to end. It really scared me. Dad ran in even faster and pulled her up from the bed and set her backwards on his lap. She buried her face in his chest and held on to him and wouldn't let go. She screamed in his chest and cried and cried. She got louder and louder, and finally my Mom ran in too. Emma would not stop. She was scaring me so much, (I was sitting up by then.) that I started to cry too. (Yes, I am very sensitive.) Dad tried calming her down, but couldn't. Then he left and left the job to Mom. She cried and shrieked. Mom layed Emma down on her bed, and she lied down next to her, rubbing her back and telling her everything was going to be alright. Emma calmed down, and started again. Finally, Mom said that she could sleep in her room, and picked her up and took her in. In the morning I asked Emma if she remembered what scared her so much. She said, "What dream?" I said, "Don't you remember waking up screaming?" She replied, "No..." That was the first supposedly night terror I experienced. (She didn't have any more that night.) You would be scared if you were in my situation, I can promise you that. My friend, Rachael has night terrors, but only if she's used to sleeping in a room. If she's in a new room, she doesn't have any. How weird is that?
A scared blogger,

Ah, Yesterday....

Lots of stuff happened yesterday. It was really fun too! First, I was able to play with Chase, and we had a great time. Then her mom offered to blow up their blowup waterslide. That was fun too! And then, Kami, my friend that lives behind me, came over while I added a new post to my The Passion of Cooking blog. At first I thought it was Cami, Chase's younger sister, because Emma was screaming, 'Kami's here! Kami's here!' But I thought she was saying 'Cami's here! Cami's here!' Sorry if that is confuzzling. ANYWAY, she came over while Chase and I were wetting up the place because of the water slide. FYI, We had just left the waterslide, and our hair was poofy (well mine was) and wavy. We actually looked (I mean, I looked) terrible. Kami came in with a french braid on the side, on her hair line, and had her hair straightened. Compared to her, I looked like I was swimming in a pig sty. I was really embarrassed. We then trooped outside and jumped on Chase's trampoline. Then Kami had to go inside to go give her dad her father's day present, and Chase and I made up a dance (yes, a dance. Heh heh.) to the Phineas and Ferb theme song. Then Cassidy Willy saw us dancing on the tramp, and asked if she could jump with us. We said sure, and she came over, and we jumped, waiting for Kami. (we had gotten dressed by then) Then she came out, and we noticed that my dad was burning tumbleweeds in our firepit, and we ran over to him and watched the fire burn higher than my dad. And my dad is tall. So, we watched the fire get higher and higher, and then we convinced my mom to bring out marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers, and hotdogs, ketchup, mustard, and buns. We then roasted marshmallows and hotdogs. Yum.... Then we went inside Chase's house and watched YouTube. We watched a couple music videos, and videos, and then we had to go home, because it was 10:00 at night. That was the best day ever.
Well, ciao for now!

My Friend Chase's Blogs and a Water Slide

My friend Chase is havin' fun with creating new blogs. She has about 4 right now. Advice From Chase, Chase the Reporter, Fashion Trends, and QuteQueen. (her original) She seems to like creating new posts. She hasn't even touched her original blog in a LOOONG time. Now she just told me to start another blog (I'm at her house right now) 'just for fun' close quote. Should I?? I'm also going to add music to my other blogs, so you don't have silence when you're reading a blog, because, I mean, seriously, it just seems boring! I'll just add the same playlist to my other blogs. I'm still concidering making another blog. Hmmm..... That was really weird. I was listening to Apple Bottom Jeans, and in the beginning it starts with 'mmmmm', and right when I finished my Hmmm, it said that. It was funny. Anyway, to my water slide part.

So, my friend, Chase , has this HUGE blowup water slide, and it is really fun to play on in the summer. We even went on it today. My hair was really wet, and now it is the poofiest thing you could ever see. Anyway, it was really ironic, because the water was really COLD, so I refused to go on. Chase asked if I was ever going on, and I said, NO! Then, about 20 minutes later, I found myself in the pool part of the water slide. The water had gotten warmer too, so I was just swimming around, and splashing like there was no tomorrow. Then Chase complained saying that it was cold, and I was arguing saying that it was warm. Wow, we sure accomplished something for those 5 minutes. I feel wonderful now. (sarcasm) Anyway, I also just realized that I am a big Phineas and Ferb fan. My friend Mercedes Buckles (Sadie Buckles) and I memorized the theme song. We sing it all the time. ANYWAY....

Cooking & Baking Blog!

As I mentioned in my last post, I love cooking and baking. So I was thinking that I could post some of my favorite things on my new blog! And I just noticed that Candace, on Phineas and Ferb, has her own blog too! Sorry, that was completely random. Okay.... So, I would save How to be a Book Goddess and Other Random Stuff for daily life, Lizzy's Stories for, well, stories, and A Good Catchy Title For My Recipe Blog for recipe's! Aren't I a genius?! Oh, and I'll also allow comments on my blog because I want to know what you think about my favorite recipe's! And I'll include pictures on what the completed dish (please excuse my cooking language) would look like! Oh, and I hope you'll like my Dirt Pail recipe, because it was delicious, and today, I snitched some! Don't tell my mom.... Oh, and Dirt Pail tastes better when it's been in the fridge overnight, because the Oreo's are softer, and the pudding is colder. Yum.. :D
Well, ciao for now!

Yummy Deliciousness

Oh yeah. That hit the spot, right there, it did
Oh. My. Gosh. LOOK AT THAT! There is nothing more to say.
I couldn't wait much longer. I just had to eat it!
Ohhhh..... Just look at that yummy deliciousness

I love that picture. Just look how
delicious that is!

Oh. My. Gosh. I love this recipe. Oh. Wow. That was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted in my whole life! And it was simple too! I think I'm going to post yummy recipe's on this blog, because, as you all know, (or I hope you know) I love cooking and baking! And I just tried this recipe, and it was AMAZING!! Here it is! (and it's flour free too! Posted especially for Lizzie)

DIRT PAIL
(if you are lactose intolerant, you would not want this recipe)

2 cups cold milk

1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling

1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed (just have it in the fridge and use that)

15 OREO sandwich cookies, finely crushed

POUR milk into a large bowl. Add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk for 2 min. or until well blended. Let stand for 5 min. Gently stir in whipped topping and 1/2 cup of the cookie crumbs.

SPOON half of the pudding mixture into JELL-O Summer Pail; top with half of the remaining cookie crumbs. Repeat layers of pudding mixture and crumbs.

REFRIGERATE at least 1 hour. Store any leftover dessert in airtight food storage container in refrigerator. (We just dug in. We could wait)

Makes 10 servings, about 1/2 cup each.

Lizzy Note: You don't have to use the JELL-O Summer Pail. You could use a CLEAN!!! bucket thing. I took some pictures, so you'll know what it looks like. Don't worry. Ha ha. Right, they're at the top. Again...

Lizzy Note 2: If you only have a 6 serving size Pudding Mix instead of a 4 serving size like I did, I used all of that, and did 3 cups of cold milk, instead of 2.

Yes, I know it looks like....well....dirt. But, it is REALLY good!! Try it the moment you leave my blog. I dare you...

Especially For Lizzie

Lizzie,
Thank you for telling me what you think. I also made some replies for you too! Especially the post when you asked if there are any powers left for you. When you see my reply, you will be happy, no doubt about that.
To all my other people:
I started a new blog! lizzysstories.blogspot.com! I have a link on the sidebar that you can use to get there. It says, MY STORY BLOG (VIEW IF YOU WANNA READ MY STORIES). (And a link on that blog to get you back. Don't worry!) I have a note at the top of the blog, and it says that I allow comments. Comment! I left them there on purpose, so I can know what you think, if I'm doing well, or what I should improve on! Most of the stories I posted were made when I was 9 to 10, so I was a little rusty. My friend wrote the Wizard, and the names who wrote the book are fake. Really, they are my friends from church (including me!) Figure out which is me! (I have a friend named Elisabeth, so you'll need to use your wits to figure out who is who). She asked me to type it up, and the Wizard started out as a game! The characters are true. Aricka, the fairy, was my friend LITTLE sister though. But she didn't want to play anymore, so we kind of eliminated the character. And there is a lot of sleeping in that book, I just realized. ANYWAY, I haven't posted The Mysteries of Madna yet, but I will, and I will update both blogs. Ugh, that will mean twice the typing, but, oh well. The Mysteries of Madna, I wrote when I was 8 years old! I got the idea from the book, The Secrets of Droon. They used to be my favorite books. Ever. I'm growing out of them though. But not the Madna book! I'm still writing it, and I think it's really cute. The plot. Good gracious! I tried to write somebody talking evily (is that a word?), but kinda failed. You'll notice when the 3 girls and Sydney go to the Prairie of the Purple Dragons. Cute, huh? I just told you something! UGH!! Oops, sorry Lizzie. Well, gotta get to writing!
Ciao!

Story Writing

A request was made by one of my 3 readers. AKA Lizzie. She saw how I have stories, and she wanted to read them. Now, I had no idea how to do that. At all. I was looking around for everything, but then I realized, just start a side blog, and have all of my stories there. I'd need to update 2 blogs, but what the heck? Can't be that hard. I hope. So, on my side bar, I'm going to have a link to let you guys view my story masterpieces. And I will have permissions on that site too, because, I don't want some random person to see my stories. That would just be embarrassing. So, if you ever see Lizzie, thank her, because it was her idea to do something like this. I now give her the 'Most Amazing Idea Comer Upper' award. I hope you love it, Lizzie
Enjoy!

Summer Swimming

On Saturday, my friend Lizzie invited me to go to the American Fork Rec Center to go swimming. What was the sad part, was when she came to pick me up, I told her what I was bringing. Towel, swimsuit, money, clothes, and shoes. She told me that I got everything. I said bye to my mom, and went into her car, and we drove to the pool. (We finally found it. We had to ask a family where the rec center was. They were very nice). We then ran inside (we were the only ones going. Me and her) and put our stuff in a locker, and ran outside. It was warm, but a little windy, and the asphalt hurt our bare feet. We set our stuff down on the grass, and jumped into the pool. That was so much fun! We then reluctantly got out because we were hungry, and I bought us some stuff to eat at the vending machines. We then lay down on our towels and snacked on Trolli Sour Gummy Worms. We then got back in the pool, and then went on the water slide they have there. Jeez, that thing is way up there! I hate climbing on metal stairs high up, like at Seven Peaks, because it just feels like the whole thing is going to break, and you're going to splat on the ground. And the wind was blowing pretty hard up there too, so it was freezing! P.S. We were wet. 'Nuff said. We went down the slide, and into the lazy river a couple of times. We then got back in line to go down the slide, but then they closed the slide for some weird reason. When Lizzie and I walked down the stairs, we saw life guards running around all over the place, and saw a black life guard pushing his way passed the crowd, with a floating stretcher over his shoulder. We then saw a life guard in the pool beneath the slide floating an unconscious body. We heard rumors that the man broke his back on the slide. Good gracious! That memory will be stuck in my mind forever. They had evacuated the whole pool. Even the ones on the other side. Why, I do not know. They eventually let us back into the pools, and we just hung out in the lazy river for the rest of the time we were there. Lizzie dropped me back off at my house, and I changed into some clothes. Later that night, when I was getting dressed, I felt this stinging feeling on my shoulder. I looked down, and saw the hugest burn ever. That was the one thing we had forgotten. Sunscreen. I felt like the biggest doofus in the whole world. I looked on my other shoulder, and saw another burn there too. Then I twisted around to look at my back, and there was a burn there! OUCH!! I put some Green Ice on my burns (Green Ice is like this jelly like substance, and you rub it on your burns. It's cooling lotion), and wore a tank top during the night, and my burns still hurt today! Yowch! Well, at least they are healing.
Well, ciao for now!

Anime Lover

I just figured out that I am a major anime fan. Anime is Japanese drawings, like in Spirited Away or Howls Moving Castle. You know. And I am teaching myself, or taking step by step lessons on the computer. I'll show you a picture that I've drawn. Ha ha! Its on the top. Right.... Okay, moving on! Actually, that's all. Sorry about the pointless message.

My Mother 2

I am so sad! My mom is gone! No, she didn't die. Thankfully. She's just on a trip, and she left us here to fend for ourselves. Yes, I am being a little sarcastic. :D Heh heh. She left yesterday. She's out at Park City right now, staying in a hotel. And I'm calling her right now, because somebody called for her, but I said she was unavailabale. Then I had to call my mom to let her know that somebody called for her and yeah. Anyway, my mom left yesterday with her college roommates. They have a get together every year, or month, or whatever, and right now, they are celebrating it right now. I feel so lonely with out my mom. It just seems, empty. Do you ever have that feeling, my dear readers? I miss my mom so much. Well, on the bright side, she's coming back tomorrow morning! Sigh. I still miss her. That bright side didn't help that much. If any of you could send an email, and tell me everything is going to be okay, then please, do! I'm just kidding. You don't have to! Humor can come in random places, I've just noticed.
Well, ciao for now!

A Really Cool Birthday Party

Yesterday was so much fun! Well, I just got back today from the party, because it was a sleepover. It was McKena Jacobs' birthday party, and she invited so many people. She invited her 'crush' Brady who goes to Timberline, Connor her cousin, Gabe, Carson, Sean (not Sean Redmond), me, Ashley, Melia S., Miles, Merissa, Liz, Rachael, Sage, Carley, Alexandra, and some other people, but I can't remember their names. We first played a game called Sprout, and that was so much fun! P.S. We played Sprout for about 2 hours. Then we went in the backyard and ate. Then we let out her goats. Their names are Henry and Isabel. They ran around everywhere. They were so cute! Their little 'Meh's were cute, but they got really annoying after a while. Then we herded them inside, and did cake and ice cream. After that, we just walked around, and then played this game called Judge. That was fun too. P.P.S. I hurt myself about 9 times there. I scraped my elbows, my thumb started to bleed, got a cut on my finger, fell in a hole and hurt my ankle, slammed into a tree.....I think you get the idea. I never cried though. Oh, and smacked my head on things a couple times too. After Judge, we sat on the fence and talked, and then Miles said that the party was getting boring, and left. How rude is that? He convinced all of the boys except Brady and Connor to come with him. Eventually, all of the boys came back except Miles. Oh, we also played Truth or Dare. That was fun too, but I never got called. (What a relief) Some the subjects were about kissing people, and that was just plain out nasty! Gross. Some of us were 11 and 10 at the party. What was their problem?? After that, we opened presents. Mine was in a huge box, and when she opened it, she would see a cute bag from Limited Too, and when she lifted it out, there was another present inside, and when she opened that one, there was a box of Whoppers, and when she took those out, she would see another present, and when she opened that one, there was a box of earrings and bracelets. After that, people left, and we pulled out glow bracelets and stuff. We put those on, and trooped outside. (Me, Brady, McKena, Rachael, Ashley, and Merissa) It was so dark, because it was about 12:30 AM. The only light was the glowing stuff we were wearing. Brady's dad didn't come to pick him up until about 1:00 AM. The girls then got ready for bed. We trooped in McKena's bed, and stayed up until about 2:30 AM. Or at least I did. Everybody either went to sleep at 3:00 or even 4:00. I got about 7 hours of sleep. At least I hope I won't be ornery. I woke up at 9:30 this morning. My dad was going to pick me up at ten. It always seems that your parents pick you up really late when they tell you the day of the sleepover, but when you wake up the next day, you only have either a half an hour to 10 minutes to get ready before you parents come and get you. Hope you loved the entry I just posted!

Finally An 8th Grader!

EEEEEEEE!!!!! I am SO happy! School is over! WOO HOO!!! I remember the first day of school, and everything seemed big and scary. And the worry that you would be shunned and that no one would want to be around you, or you wouldn't make any friends. And P.S., but I've just noticed that I am now a big CASCADA fan. She sings the "Every Time We Touch" song. You know, 'cause every time we touch, I feel lighter, and every time we kiss, I feel I could fly' or however it goes. I am so happy.
When we first got to school, we were locked out, because the teachers were setting up little stations where they would check your bags if you brought any dangerous stuff, like guns, pocketknives, or stinkbombs. You know, the ordinary drill. Lizzie, my friend, got held up because she brought a jean bag. You know, a bag made of jeans, like pants?? Eh, eh? You gettin' it? I thought not. But Lizzie knows what I'm talking about, don't you Lizzie? (I just remembered, I was supposed to email Lizzie when I got home. Oops. O_o Hee hee. Okay, moving on.) They had to take it away too.
We then went to our B1 class, for about 5 minutes so they could take roll. Why do that do that, if it is the last day of school? I thought they didn't record it anymore..... Then they called us down to the gym so we could do absolutely.......................................................NOTHING! They set up National Treasure, did bike races, and played tag and basketball in one dinky little gym. (The only reason why it was dinky was because they had the bleachers set up, and those things are HUGE! They take up tons of space. That's why. ANYWAY, they didn't let you leave the gym. They had teachers set up like fences, and if you had something in the classroom or whatever, they wouldn't let you go. It was pretty annoying. You were cooped up in a little space with about 300 people in it, I think you would go claustrophobic and start going insane. We were so bored, because there was nothing to do. Yeah, there was stuff to do, but since everyone was doing it, you couldn't do anything, because of the crowds and stuff.
Finally, the bell rang and school was out. FOREVER!! (Like, the end of seventh graders for a while. I'm finally an 8th grader!) Lizzie and I left together, and tried to get her bag. It took FOREVER!! The crowd was HUGE! Then we were able to force our way through the crowd, and was able to grab Lizzie's bag. We then walked out to the buses, and stopped in front of Lizzie's bus. We then looked at each other, and hugged.
"I'm going to miss you, Lizzy," Lizzie said. (Whoa, that sounds and looks weird.... Kooky)
"I'm going to miss you too, Lizzie," I said. (We were talking in each others shoulders)
We talked about how much we were going to miss each other. Then I said:
"When I get home, I'm going to email you, okay?"
"OK," Lizzie replied. And then we parted. It made me really sad. But, yet, happy, because SUMMER IS HERE!!!
Ciao!

Neighborhood Tag

My next door neighbor, Chase, was babysitting her family and James and Brielle Bowman. She invited us over so we could play together. We went outside and started tag. Yeah, there were some ups and downs about it. James wanted to go home. There was some fighting in the game. But, hey! That happens all the time, ya know? I don't mean that in a bad way though. Then, I had the worst thing happen to me. James, Cami (her younger sister, same age as Eric and James), and Eric were it. They're eight. Chase and I were running away from them, and I plowed through Eric. He didn't get hurt. But Chase then accidentally ran into James, kicking him in the shin. Chase and I kept running, because we didn't know that he was hurt. Finally, Eric screamed across our yards, saying that James was crying. Chase and I quickly ran to my backyard. James was red-faced and clutching his ankle. We made him feel better, and I then said without thinking, "James, do you miss me babysitting you?" Now, I didn't know that that would hurt Chase's feelings.
"Lizzy! That was really rude of you to say!" she said.
"What?" I said bewildered.
"That was rude! Why would you say that!" And because of me, she brought in all of the kids, saying that it was time to go inside. I saw how angry she was at me.
"Chase," I said.
"What?" she said.
"I'm sorry. I really didn't mean that. I...I'm sorry," I said sadly.
"Then why did you say that in the first place," she said angrily.
I was at a loss for words. I just made an accident, and we were getting along so well before, and suddenly we were upset at each other.
"Chase," I said again.
"What?" she snapped.
"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean it like that. When I said it, it just came out," I apologized.
"It's time to go inside, now! Let's go."
I sighed. I then remembered when I was running to the trampoline, my shoes and fallen off, so I was barefoot. So I followed Chase, put on my shoes, and sniffled back to our house. When I got inside, I cried. Yes, I cried. I had felt so bad that I insulted her. Even though I hadn't meant to. Then Eric burst in crying, yelling that Chase was being mean and told him to shut up. Eric then pulled himself together, and went back outside. Then Eric came back inside, and said that Chase wanted to talk to me. I went back outside (I remembered my shoes) and went inside Chase's house. I was over there for about 7 minutes, and then I came out happy. We had forgiven each other. Then we resumed the game. It was again, full of arguing. But, hey. What's a fun tag game without the arguing?

My Mother

I feel so sorry for my mom right now. She has been going to the dentist 2 days in a row now, and they found out that she needs to have a root canal! That makes me sad. :( So right when I get home, I need to babysit so I can take care of the kids while she goes to get.....yeah. My friend had a root canal, and she was a little woooo in the head when she got home because they knocked her out. Sigh.. Well, I am all caught up in my CSI: Highland thing, so that is good. I need to drink some soda for my project too. Yeah, that sounds random, but I need to.
Well, ciao for now!

Even Hotter

Yeah, I've gotten hotter the past couple days. In both ways too. JK. Today has been a very busy day. The busiest ever. I played Mario Kart Wii all day today. Tired out my finger. Almost fell off, ya know? We took a music test in Humanites, (which studies the arts, not your body) and I obviously got 100% on it. No seriously, I did. And then we had my technology class, and we made airplanes and their bungee launchers. Then I had Math, and we did, like, nothing in that class, except for our CSI: Highland. Oooo! I didn't tell you guys about that! Well, you get together with a partner who is in 2 of your core classes. English, Math, and Science. My partner is Kaylah H. Then you come up with a crime. Ours is really cool!
OUR CRIME
BY ELIZABETH AND KAYLAH
There once was a police, Officer Miller. He was really clumsy and a really bad police dude. And he was in love with a Science teacher. But, sadly, the teacher didn't love him. She told him that she never wanted to see him again because he wouldn't leave her alone. He got REALLY mad. When he was chasing this high school drunk kid who was speeding, he had an idea. He said
"If you give this soda to Miss ***** I will let you off the hook." Obviously, since the guy was drunk, he did it.
"But remember, do it secretly," Officer Miller warned. So he let him go. The soda had POISON in it!!! DUN DUN DUN! The police guy was so ticked off at the science teacher, he wanted to kill her and then be involved in the crime and blame some one else for killing her. Then he would get lots of money. So the kid snuck in at night, and put the soda on the teachers desk. But he left behind some clues. Like his FOOTPRINT! When Miss ***** (i'm not swearing! I'm keeping her name a secret!) saw the soda, she drank it and died. When she died, Officer Miller was patrolling the school hallways, so he got to the crime scene first. And now he's an EVIIIIL man!
THE END
Pretty great huh? Yeah, I thought so. It was even HOTTER today, so we ate lunch outside. The grass was WET! And I had English, and wrote down Officer Andrew Miller's failures and records and typed them up for an artifact. Pretty DUN DUN DUNish if I may say so myself.
Be prepared for the ending of our crime story!
Ciao,
Lizzy!

Family Dinner & Major Hotness

Today is Sunday. Yeah, great beginning, right? Sorry, I couldn't think of anything to say. Well, were to begin... AH! I know. At church. We had to sing in front of the whole congregation! Not that nerve wracking because I take voice lessons, so I have to sing for people, practically daily, because when ever I practice, my brother has some friends over, so they hear me sing. But, no biggie. My friend on the other hand, was so nervous having to sing in front of about 100 people, but we were singing as a choir! Why be nervous? You could lip sync. Anyway, once we got back, we played Mario Kart Wii, and that was fun. But we only played for about 15 minutes, because we had to go over to my step-cousins house. No, my parents did not get a divorce. My grandma remarried because my grandpa died when my dad was 16. When we got at my cousins house, I instantly sat down next to her and stuffed my face. Literally. My stomach still hurts because I was eating so much. Ouch. But, UGH!!! It was about 94 degrees outside! It was SO FREAKIN' HOT!! I was sweating my butt off. I have never sweated so much in my life. Wow. Then my other cousin came over, and we played CSI. Fun, fun. Then I had to go home. (We ((my cousins)) had to make sure that no one saw us as we snuck around the house. It was really hard.) When we got home, we tried to play Mario Kart Wii again, but then my dad said we had to turn the Wii off, and then he turned on Indiana Jones, the first one. Its called like, Rise of the Lost Arc. I don't know if the part is 'Rise' of the Lost Arc or whatever. Its been on for a while, and I left after about 10 minutes into the movie cause it was so gross and disgusting, and....yuck. I'm gonna have nightmares. My parents won't be happy. I normally have a book I can read when I have nightmares, but I don't have a book that I haven't read. I need to read New Moon. I hear its not as good as Twilight or Eclipse, but I need to read it because it's part of the series.

Back to how hot it is. When we got home, I turned the fan up as high as it would go, and changed into one of my tie-behind-the-neck-to-hold-up-the-one-piece swimsuit. Then I pulled on some shorts. Our neighbors was going to watch it with us, but then then they found out their parents had recorded it too, so the left.

I also took some pictures of flowers and grass and stuffs. Do you want to see 'em? Of course you do! The pictures are at the top. Sorry. The thingie was being weird.
So, I hope you enjoy my beautiful pictures!
Ciao,
Lizzy
P.S. And YES, I took those pictures. I did not take them off the internet. Look yourself. ME! I took them! ME ME ME!

Busy, Busy, BUSY Day Today (and exciting!)

Oooooh! Today is my busiest day EVER!! But first, a word of apology to all of my (supposedly) readers who come on here and look at my blog (3 people). First, I wake up, and (by the way, it's exactly 8:00 AM right now, so the time on my blog post is wrong! Then, I eat, do some chores, and then get ready for my soccer pictures at 10:00 AM, which is at Timberline Middle School. Boo you Grizzly fans!! Once we are done with pictures, we have a soccer game at 11:00 AM. Then when we are all done, I have about a half hour to get ready for the opening of Prince Caspian with my Young Women's group for church at 12:30 PM. When I get home from that, which would take about 2 hours, my friend, Elizabeth (ha ha) wants me to play with her. If I can, and when I get back from her house, I need to RUSH to get ready for my babysitting job, which is at 5:30 PM. I'll get back at 9:00 PM. So, as you can see, I am really busy. Now my brother wants me to play Mario Kart on the Wii with him, so I need to go.
Ciao!

Monday and Mother's Day

Now I know why grown-ups hate Mondays. They have to go to work! And I had to go to school today! I was really tired. I felt like Garfield. Well, I hope you all had a good Mother's Day! I made my mom breakfast, which included blueberry muffins and scrambled eggs. After church, we went to my grandma's up in Salt Lake, and had dinner with them. We had mashed potatoes, gravy, salad, roast pork, rolls, and other stuffs for the grownups (AKA fruit salad). And for dessert, we had...................eclairs!! :D That made me really happy. We also had strawberry shortcake. And the kids went outside (AKA Me, Eric, Emma, Elena) to go play croquet. Pronounced crow-KAY. Every kiss begins with Kay! Sorry, little commercial moment there. I have to do this poetry slam thing for English. Thankfully, we don't have to memorize the poem. Here is the poem that I will be 'Slamming'.
Magic
By Grace V. Tidrow

You have magic in your finger tips,
Magic in your eye.
Magic in the arms that hold
And tell me not to cry.
There is magic in your voice
When you talk to me each day.
There is magic in your smile
And in the things you say.
There is magic in the way
You let me be myself with you.
There is magic that you teach me
To be good and brave and true.
I am growing older
And soon I'll go away,
But the magic that you taught me
Will go with me every day.

I think that that poem is very pretty. It seems very true.
Well, my little sister is getting very impatient waiting for the computer, so I gotsa go.
Ciao!
Lizzy.

BIGGEST BESTEST NEWS EVER FOR ME!!!

I just got back from my soccer game, and it was 4-1. Now, we are an undefeated team. Until now. We LOST!! I'm so sad! I just got home, well, actually I got home about 2 hours ago, but whatever. I was sitting at the computer, and then my little sister, Emma ran in saying, "Lizzy, Lizzy! Guess what!!!"
"What?" I replied.
"A girl named Cami moved in right behind us, and she's 12, like you!" That was a piece of news I wanted to hear! I am SOOO happy. When I went outside, my mom convinced me to go over to their house and say hi. I saw a silver car drive by. When I went over, and rang the doorbell, nobody answered. I realized that that car was their's, and they had just left. That's the sad news part. There are only 2 other 12 year old girls in my neighborhood, and like, 10 12 year old boys. They are mean ugly butts to me. I hate them. They called my friend and her dad an idiot, and me 'To dumb to know anything'. And my brother has 6 eight year olds in our neighborhood. I think its high time I get some kids my age (who are GIRLS) to move in! YAY!!
Ciao,
Lizzy

Ill, Sick, Gross, and Any Other Type of Gross Words you Can Think Of

The reason why I didn't to a post yesterday, is, heh, well, I HAD THE STINKIN' STOMACH FLU!!! I was going to go to the mall yesterday with my mom, but my stomach hurt too much. I had to go to soccer practice, but that was before my belleh hurt. When I was all done, I had a major headache and when we were driving home, my tummy hurt. When I got home, my dad had to go to my brothers baseball game, and my mom had to go to the mall, so I had to stay home with my two little sisters. My mom did get me some stuffs though. I was happy about that. She also got me a WEBKINZ!! And no, I am not a baby. I'm sure that you sometimes suck your thumbs, have a special blankie, or have a stuffed animal that you can't sleep without. So there! Thankfully, I am feeling better.
From a non-sick writer,
Lizzy.
Ciao!
P.S. My SOS song by Rihanna is sped up. I think it's pretty funny. Real great. HA HA!! :D

A Good ,Yet Bad Day at School

Hola mi amigos! I have had a topsy-turvey day today! I have no idea where I should begin at all. Maybe at lunch. Well, it all started after my A3 class. Utah History. Up till then, I had a great time at school, and U.H. was really fun. When the bell rang, I went out into the hall, and walked left-ways to my friend Melia's classroom, which was Math. I quickly spotted her, obviously because she was wearing a tan shirt with blue sweatpants, with her hair pulled up in a half up bun with ringlets. She was also walking with our friend, Cody Buckner. I joined their little pair, and we walked down the hall, being chased by crazy girls. (I am DEAD serious about this!) So we ran down the hallway, me being last (again, obviously) dodging various people. I almost had a smackdown with Melia's *crush*. His name will not be given, due to Melia's pride. They had hid in a little indent where the door to a classroom was, but when I tried to join them, they ran out again, so I slammed into Melia. I had really bad slamming-into-people-in-the-hallway problems today. So we were able to outrun 'em, and Melia and Cody went to the lunchroom, while I went to get my lunchbox in my locker. When I went in the lunchroom, I searched the lines, but couldn't find Melia, until I turned around in and she was right in front of me. Note to self: Remind me to go get laser eyes so I won't be embarrassed when my friends are right in front of my nose and I can't see them. I joined her and we talked, and then this girl named Bailey (who is also our friend) came up, sent her friends away so she could eat lunch with us, and joined me and Melia. Melia said she would be right back, and left me and Bailey talking. When Melia joined us with Cody, we all trooped outside to our usual spot underneath a certain tree. We sat down and dug in with our lunches. Melia always promises me her mashed potatoes if I have something good, because she doesn't like them. She only gets mashed potatoes because that lunch has the best desserts.
"Melia, can I have your mashed potatoes now?" I asked.
"Sure. Do you have any of those Yogo roller thingies?" she replied.
"No, but I have some Cheetos. You can have them."
"Okay," she said and scooched her tray over so I could eat her potatoes.
"Wow Liz....zy! Your like a pig today!" Cody exclaimed.
"So," I shot back, and started eating the potatoes again. Our conversation turned from pigs, to Suessical the Musical. I remembered when I went to go see our friend, McKena's production of Suessical, and I brought it up.
"I'm kinda glad that McKena didn't get the part...." I said. (Okay, I don't officially remember how this part went, so I'll try my best)
"She seemed to young," Melia agreed. We kept talking about Suessical and we sang some of their songs. Bailey was quiet the whole lunch.
"Bailey, what's wrong?" Melia asked.
"I'm fine," she said, and started picking at her gravy. When the bell rang, Bailey yelped, "Oh, CRAP! The bell!" and we ran inside. After school, Melia came on our bus (she goes on a different bus but her parents are in Hawaii, so she gets to go home with a different friend) and sat by me. "Lizzy, I have something to tell you," she said when the bus started.
"Okay, shoot," I said. Melia reminded me of our lunch, and got to the part when she, Cody, McKena, and Bailey were in English while I was in Math.
"Well, Bailey--"
"Started to cry!" I said dangerously.
"How do you know?" Melia asked.
"I guessed," I said sheepishly.
"Well, anyway, Bailey told McKena all that you said about her, except she said it worse (I think that's what Melia said....). So now McKena is mad at you. I stood up for you and told her that I have known you for 2-3 years, and that you've only gossiped 5 times at the most. That made Bailey get mad at me and you." Sheesh! When I got home, I was able to go and babysit and play this magic game with the babysat, Whitney and her sister who I just forgot who her name is, and Whitney's friend, Holly. They had this really nice princess dress, but it was too big for all of them, so I tried it on and it fitted me perfectly. I was happy. We ran outside wearing our dresses, and played until her mom called, saying that she would be coming home in 20 minutes. That babysitting job cheered me up!
Well, Ciao for now!
Lizzy
P.S. I solved the problem with McKena! It is May 12, 2008 at 4:46 pm.

CRT Testing

UGH!! CRT Testing is the WORST EVER!! I hate it! It has to be dead silent. Twitch. Quote of my English teacher, Miss McNeill "Which means no talking at ALL. Zip your lips!" Close quote. My goodness! I just practically fell asleep during those 30 minutes of testing! And tomorrow I have to take 2 more tests. Science (which, thankfully is on the computer) and math. Gotta love the math. I just hate it. But today in math was pretty fun. Since we only take testing on A-Days in math, and today was a B-Day, we got to watch Toy Story. But the down side was that we had to see what math was in the movie (find 2 examples!), and create a problem with math using the characters (make 2 problems!). Seriously! How could this day get any worse. Well, look who's talking! Its raining buckets outside and my friend has to play soccer in this gloomy weather. Now this day can't get any worse. Unless all of my family drops dead, but, I know THAT will never happen! Yet. When I came home from school, I watched the 100th episode of Dancing With the Stars, which is my all time favorite show EVER! Then I went on my couch wrapped up in a blanket, and enjoyed about 10 minutes in dreamland. Then the phone rang, which happened to be my best friend Melia. So that woke me up. I'm not that grumpy though, even though, sadly, I'm not hyper, which you should be shocked at right now.
Well, from a tired writer,
Lizzy
Ciao!

Getting to Know Me (and what happened today)

Hola everybody! My name is Elizabeth, but you can just call me Lizzy. Everybody does. Most of my teachers at school do too. Now, my parents call me Lizzy, but they used to call me Elizabeth. They only call me Elizabeth when they are SUPER mad, so I try to avoid getting them angry. I'm 12 going on to 13 on June 17th. I'm SO excited. Finally a teenager. My mom calls me Twinkie because I'm in the middle of the almost-being-a-teen years. It ticks me off so bad. Anyway, to what happened today.

I just got back from my second Voice Recital. No, its not about giving a speech in front of everybody. Its singing! I took voice about a year ago and this is only my second. I was really embarrassed when my teacher told me I was the second to perform, and then she said, 'We will have Liz come up and sing her song first! Okay?' I had NO idea what to say, so I obviously had to say yes. I couldn't say no to lots of people! My friend Chase (check out HER blog! Its qutequeen.blogspot.com. Go see it!) was there too, and she's sitting next to me right now while I am typing this. She just laughed. She's also over f0r dinner, which is great, because I'm having my FAVORITE things! (sorry about the caps, I like using them) Japanese Salad for the first part, and for dessert, eclairs! They are little pastries quite thin, filled with this delicious cream! I love 'em. So, take my advice about seeing Chase's blog! She's embarrassed.
Well, Ciao for now!
Lizzy
P.S. My friend Melia was supposed to come and sing to, but her parents went on vacation to HAWAII today! So she wasn't able to come to the recital. Sniff Sniff. I was sad.
