My Mother 2

I am so sad! My mom is gone! No, she didn't die. Thankfully. She's just on a trip, and she left us here to fend for ourselves. Yes, I am being a little sarcastic. :D Heh heh. She left yesterday. She's out at Park City right now, staying in a hotel. And I'm calling her right now, because somebody called for her, but I said she was unavailabale. Then I had to call my mom to let her know that somebody called for her and yeah. Anyway, my mom left yesterday with her college roommates. They have a get together every year, or month, or whatever, and right now, they are celebrating it right now. I feel so lonely with out my mom. It just seems, empty. Do you ever have that feeling, my dear readers? I miss my mom so much. Well, on the bright side, she's coming back tomorrow morning! Sigh. I still miss her. That bright side didn't help that much. If any of you could send an email, and tell me everything is going to be okay, then please, do! I'm just kidding. You don't have to! Humor can come in random places, I've just noticed.
Well, ciao for now!

A Really Cool Birthday Party

Yesterday was so much fun! Well, I just got back today from the party, because it was a sleepover. It was McKena Jacobs' birthday party, and she invited so many people. She invited her 'crush' Brady who goes to Timberline, Connor her cousin, Gabe, Carson, Sean (not Sean Redmond), me, Ashley, Melia S., Miles, Merissa, Liz, Rachael, Sage, Carley, Alexandra, and some other people, but I can't remember their names. We first played a game called Sprout, and that was so much fun! P.S. We played Sprout for about 2 hours. Then we went in the backyard and ate. Then we let out her goats. Their names are Henry and Isabel. They ran around everywhere. They were so cute! Their little 'Meh's were cute, but they got really annoying after a while. Then we herded them inside, and did cake and ice cream. After that, we just walked around, and then played this game called Judge. That was fun too. P.P.S. I hurt myself about 9 times there. I scraped my elbows, my thumb started to bleed, got a cut on my finger, fell in a hole and hurt my ankle, slammed into a tree.....I think you get the idea. I never cried though. Oh, and smacked my head on things a couple times too. After Judge, we sat on the fence and talked, and then Miles said that the party was getting boring, and left. How rude is that? He convinced all of the boys except Brady and Connor to come with him. Eventually, all of the boys came back except Miles. Oh, we also played Truth or Dare. That was fun too, but I never got called. (What a relief) Some the subjects were about kissing people, and that was just plain out nasty! Gross. Some of us were 11 and 10 at the party. What was their problem?? After that, we opened presents. Mine was in a huge box, and when she opened it, she would see a cute bag from Limited Too, and when she lifted it out, there was another present inside, and when she opened that one, there was a box of Whoppers, and when she took those out, she would see another present, and when she opened that one, there was a box of earrings and bracelets. After that, people left, and we pulled out glow bracelets and stuff. We put those on, and trooped outside. (Me, Brady, McKena, Rachael, Ashley, and Merissa) It was so dark, because it was about 12:30 AM. The only light was the glowing stuff we were wearing. Brady's dad didn't come to pick him up until about 1:00 AM. The girls then got ready for bed. We trooped in McKena's bed, and stayed up until about 2:30 AM. Or at least I did. Everybody either went to sleep at 3:00 or even 4:00. I got about 7 hours of sleep. At least I hope I won't be ornery. I woke up at 9:30 this morning. My dad was going to pick me up at ten. It always seems that your parents pick you up really late when they tell you the day of the sleepover, but when you wake up the next day, you only have either a half an hour to 10 minutes to get ready before you parents come and get you. Hope you loved the entry I just posted!

Finally An 8th Grader!

EEEEEEEE!!!!! I am SO happy! School is over! WOO HOO!!! I remember the first day of school, and everything seemed big and scary. And the worry that you would be shunned and that no one would want to be around you, or you wouldn't make any friends. And P.S., but I've just noticed that I am now a big CASCADA fan. She sings the "Every Time We Touch" song. You know, 'cause every time we touch, I feel lighter, and every time we kiss, I feel I could fly' or however it goes. I am so happy.
When we first got to school, we were locked out, because the teachers were setting up little stations where they would check your bags if you brought any dangerous stuff, like guns, pocketknives, or stinkbombs. You know, the ordinary drill. Lizzie, my friend, got held up because she brought a jean bag. You know, a bag made of jeans, like pants?? Eh, eh? You gettin' it? I thought not. But Lizzie knows what I'm talking about, don't you Lizzie? (I just remembered, I was supposed to email Lizzie when I got home. Oops. O_o Hee hee. Okay, moving on.) They had to take it away too.
We then went to our B1 class, for about 5 minutes so they could take roll. Why do that do that, if it is the last day of school? I thought they didn't record it anymore..... Then they called us down to the gym so we could do absolutely.......................................................NOTHING! They set up National Treasure, did bike races, and played tag and basketball in one dinky little gym. (The only reason why it was dinky was because they had the bleachers set up, and those things are HUGE! They take up tons of space. That's why. ANYWAY, they didn't let you leave the gym. They had teachers set up like fences, and if you had something in the classroom or whatever, they wouldn't let you go. It was pretty annoying. You were cooped up in a little space with about 300 people in it, I think you would go claustrophobic and start going insane. We were so bored, because there was nothing to do. Yeah, there was stuff to do, but since everyone was doing it, you couldn't do anything, because of the crowds and stuff.
Finally, the bell rang and school was out. FOREVER!! (Like, the end of seventh graders for a while. I'm finally an 8th grader!) Lizzie and I left together, and tried to get her bag. It took FOREVER!! The crowd was HUGE! Then we were able to force our way through the crowd, and was able to grab Lizzie's bag. We then walked out to the buses, and stopped in front of Lizzie's bus. We then looked at each other, and hugged.
"I'm going to miss you, Lizzy," Lizzie said. (Whoa, that sounds and looks weird.... Kooky)
"I'm going to miss you too, Lizzie," I said. (We were talking in each others shoulders)
We talked about how much we were going to miss each other. Then I said:
"When I get home, I'm going to email you, okay?"
"OK," Lizzie replied. And then we parted. It made me really sad. But, yet, happy, because SUMMER IS HERE!!!
Ciao!

Neighborhood Tag

My next door neighbor, Chase, was babysitting her family and James and Brielle Bowman. She invited us over so we could play together. We went outside and started tag. Yeah, there were some ups and downs about it. James wanted to go home. There was some fighting in the game. But, hey! That happens all the time, ya know? I don't mean that in a bad way though. Then, I had the worst thing happen to me. James, Cami (her younger sister, same age as Eric and James), and Eric were it. They're eight. Chase and I were running away from them, and I plowed through Eric. He didn't get hurt. But Chase then accidentally ran into James, kicking him in the shin. Chase and I kept running, because we didn't know that he was hurt. Finally, Eric screamed across our yards, saying that James was crying. Chase and I quickly ran to my backyard. James was red-faced and clutching his ankle. We made him feel better, and I then said without thinking, "James, do you miss me babysitting you?" Now, I didn't know that that would hurt Chase's feelings.
"Lizzy! That was really rude of you to say!" she said.
"What?" I said bewildered.
"That was rude! Why would you say that!" And because of me, she brought in all of the kids, saying that it was time to go inside. I saw how angry she was at me.
"Chase," I said.
"What?" she said.
"I'm sorry. I really didn't mean that. I...I'm sorry," I said sadly.
"Then why did you say that in the first place," she said angrily.
I was at a loss for words. I just made an accident, and we were getting along so well before, and suddenly we were upset at each other.
"Chase," I said again.
"What?" she snapped.
"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean it like that. When I said it, it just came out," I apologized.
"It's time to go inside, now! Let's go."
I sighed. I then remembered when I was running to the trampoline, my shoes and fallen off, so I was barefoot. So I followed Chase, put on my shoes, and sniffled back to our house. When I got inside, I cried. Yes, I cried. I had felt so bad that I insulted her. Even though I hadn't meant to. Then Eric burst in crying, yelling that Chase was being mean and told him to shut up. Eric then pulled himself together, and went back outside. Then Eric came back inside, and said that Chase wanted to talk to me. I went back outside (I remembered my shoes) and went inside Chase's house. I was over there for about 7 minutes, and then I came out happy. We had forgiven each other. Then we resumed the game. It was again, full of arguing. But, hey. What's a fun tag game without the arguing?

My Mother

I feel so sorry for my mom right now. She has been going to the dentist 2 days in a row now, and they found out that she needs to have a root canal! That makes me sad. :( So right when I get home, I need to babysit so I can take care of the kids while she goes to get.....yeah. My friend had a root canal, and she was a little woooo in the head when she got home because they knocked her out. Sigh.. Well, I am all caught up in my CSI: Highland thing, so that is good. I need to drink some soda for my project too. Yeah, that sounds random, but I need to.
Well, ciao for now!

Even Hotter

Yeah, I've gotten hotter the past couple days. In both ways too. JK. Today has been a very busy day. The busiest ever. I played Mario Kart Wii all day today. Tired out my finger. Almost fell off, ya know? We took a music test in Humanites, (which studies the arts, not your body) and I obviously got 100% on it. No seriously, I did. And then we had my technology class, and we made airplanes and their bungee launchers. Then I had Math, and we did, like, nothing in that class, except for our CSI: Highland. Oooo! I didn't tell you guys about that! Well, you get together with a partner who is in 2 of your core classes. English, Math, and Science. My partner is Kaylah H. Then you come up with a crime. Ours is really cool!
OUR CRIME
BY ELIZABETH AND KAYLAH
There once was a police, Officer Miller. He was really clumsy and a really bad police dude. And he was in love with a Science teacher. But, sadly, the teacher didn't love him. She told him that she never wanted to see him again because he wouldn't leave her alone. He got REALLY mad. When he was chasing this high school drunk kid who was speeding, he had an idea. He said
"If you give this soda to Miss ***** I will let you off the hook." Obviously, since the guy was drunk, he did it.
"But remember, do it secretly," Officer Miller warned. So he let him go. The soda had POISON in it!!! DUN DUN DUN! The police guy was so ticked off at the science teacher, he wanted to kill her and then be involved in the crime and blame some one else for killing her. Then he would get lots of money. So the kid snuck in at night, and put the soda on the teachers desk. But he left behind some clues. Like his FOOTPRINT! When Miss ***** (i'm not swearing! I'm keeping her name a secret!) saw the soda, she drank it and died. When she died, Officer Miller was patrolling the school hallways, so he got to the crime scene first. And now he's an EVIIIIL man!
THE END
Pretty great huh? Yeah, I thought so. It was even HOTTER today, so we ate lunch outside. The grass was WET! And I had English, and wrote down Officer Andrew Miller's failures and records and typed them up for an artifact. Pretty DUN DUN DUNish if I may say so myself.
Be prepared for the ending of our crime story!
Ciao,
Lizzy!

Family Dinner & Major Hotness

Today is Sunday. Yeah, great beginning, right? Sorry, I couldn't think of anything to say. Well, were to begin... AH! I know. At church. We had to sing in front of the whole congregation! Not that nerve wracking because I take voice lessons, so I have to sing for people, practically daily, because when ever I practice, my brother has some friends over, so they hear me sing. But, no biggie. My friend on the other hand, was so nervous having to sing in front of about 100 people, but we were singing as a choir! Why be nervous? You could lip sync. Anyway, once we got back, we played Mario Kart Wii, and that was fun. But we only played for about 15 minutes, because we had to go over to my step-cousins house. No, my parents did not get a divorce. My grandma remarried because my grandpa died when my dad was 16. When we got at my cousins house, I instantly sat down next to her and stuffed my face. Literally. My stomach still hurts because I was eating so much. Ouch. But, UGH!!! It was about 94 degrees outside! It was SO FREAKIN' HOT!! I was sweating my butt off. I have never sweated so much in my life. Wow. Then my other cousin came over, and we played CSI. Fun, fun. Then I had to go home. (We ((my cousins)) had to make sure that no one saw us as we snuck around the house. It was really hard.) When we got home, we tried to play Mario Kart Wii again, but then my dad said we had to turn the Wii off, and then he turned on Indiana Jones, the first one. Its called like, Rise of the Lost Arc. I don't know if the part is 'Rise' of the Lost Arc or whatever. Its been on for a while, and I left after about 10 minutes into the movie cause it was so gross and disgusting, and....yuck. I'm gonna have nightmares. My parents won't be happy. I normally have a book I can read when I have nightmares, but I don't have a book that I haven't read. I need to read New Moon. I hear its not as good as Twilight or Eclipse, but I need to read it because it's part of the series.

Back to how hot it is. When we got home, I turned the fan up as high as it would go, and changed into one of my tie-behind-the-neck-to-hold-up-the-one-piece swimsuit. Then I pulled on some shorts. Our neighbors was going to watch it with us, but then then they found out their parents had recorded it too, so the left.

I also took some pictures of flowers and grass and stuffs. Do you want to see 'em? Of course you do! The pictures are at the top. Sorry. The thingie was being weird.
So, I hope you enjoy my beautiful pictures!
Ciao,
Lizzy
P.S. And YES, I took those pictures. I did not take them off the internet. Look yourself. ME! I took them! ME ME ME!

Busy, Busy, BUSY Day Today (and exciting!)

Oooooh! Today is my busiest day EVER!! But first, a word of apology to all of my (supposedly) readers who come on here and look at my blog (3 people). First, I wake up, and (by the way, it's exactly 8:00 AM right now, so the time on my blog post is wrong! Then, I eat, do some chores, and then get ready for my soccer pictures at 10:00 AM, which is at Timberline Middle School. Boo you Grizzly fans!! Once we are done with pictures, we have a soccer game at 11:00 AM. Then when we are all done, I have about a half hour to get ready for the opening of Prince Caspian with my Young Women's group for church at 12:30 PM. When I get home from that, which would take about 2 hours, my friend, Elizabeth (ha ha) wants me to play with her. If I can, and when I get back from her house, I need to RUSH to get ready for my babysitting job, which is at 5:30 PM. I'll get back at 9:00 PM. So, as you can see, I am really busy. Now my brother wants me to play Mario Kart on the Wii with him, so I need to go.
Ciao!

Monday and Mother's Day

Now I know why grown-ups hate Mondays. They have to go to work! And I had to go to school today! I was really tired. I felt like Garfield. Well, I hope you all had a good Mother's Day! I made my mom breakfast, which included blueberry muffins and scrambled eggs. After church, we went to my grandma's up in Salt Lake, and had dinner with them. We had mashed potatoes, gravy, salad, roast pork, rolls, and other stuffs for the grownups (AKA fruit salad). And for dessert, we had...................eclairs!! :D That made me really happy. We also had strawberry shortcake. And the kids went outside (AKA Me, Eric, Emma, Elena) to go play croquet. Pronounced crow-KAY. Every kiss begins with Kay! Sorry, little commercial moment there. I have to do this poetry slam thing for English. Thankfully, we don't have to memorize the poem. Here is the poem that I will be 'Slamming'.
Magic
By Grace V. Tidrow

You have magic in your finger tips,
Magic in your eye.
Magic in the arms that hold
And tell me not to cry.
There is magic in your voice
When you talk to me each day.
There is magic in your smile
And in the things you say.
There is magic in the way
You let me be myself with you.
There is magic that you teach me
To be good and brave and true.
I am growing older
And soon I'll go away,
But the magic that you taught me
Will go with me every day.

I think that that poem is very pretty. It seems very true.
Well, my little sister is getting very impatient waiting for the computer, so I gotsa go.
Ciao!

BIGGEST BESTEST NEWS EVER FOR ME!!!

I just got back from my soccer game, and it was 4-1. Now, we are an undefeated team. Until now. We LOST!! I'm so sad! I just got home, well, actually I got home about 2 hours ago, but whatever. I was sitting at the computer, and then my little sister, Emma ran in saying, "Lizzy, Lizzy! Guess what!!!"
"What?" I replied.
"A girl named Cami moved in right behind us, and she's 12, like you!" That was a piece of news I wanted to hear! I am SOOO happy. When I went outside, my mom convinced me to go over to their house and say hi. I saw a silver car drive by. When I went over, and rang the doorbell, nobody answered. I realized that that car was their's, and they had just left. That's the sad news part. There are only 2 other 12 year old girls in my neighborhood, and like, 10 12 year old boys. They are mean ugly butts to me. I hate them. They called my friend and her dad an idiot, and me 'To dumb to know anything'. And my brother has 6 eight year olds in our neighborhood. I think its high time I get some kids my age (who are GIRLS) to move in! YAY!!
Ciao,
Lizzy

Ill, Sick, Gross, and Any Other Type of Gross Words you Can Think Of

The reason why I didn't to a post yesterday, is, heh, well, I HAD THE STINKIN' STOMACH FLU!!! I was going to go to the mall yesterday with my mom, but my stomach hurt too much. I had to go to soccer practice, but that was before my belleh hurt. When I was all done, I had a major headache and when we were driving home, my tummy hurt. When I got home, my dad had to go to my brothers baseball game, and my mom had to go to the mall, so I had to stay home with my two little sisters. My mom did get me some stuffs though. I was happy about that. She also got me a WEBKINZ!! And no, I am not a baby. I'm sure that you sometimes suck your thumbs, have a special blankie, or have a stuffed animal that you can't sleep without. So there! Thankfully, I am feeling better.
From a non-sick writer,
Lizzy.
Ciao!
P.S. My SOS song by Rihanna is sped up. I think it's pretty funny. Real great. HA HA!! :D

A Good ,Yet Bad Day at School

Hola mi amigos! I have had a topsy-turvey day today! I have no idea where I should begin at all. Maybe at lunch. Well, it all started after my A3 class. Utah History. Up till then, I had a great time at school, and U.H. was really fun. When the bell rang, I went out into the hall, and walked left-ways to my friend Melia's classroom, which was Math. I quickly spotted her, obviously because she was wearing a tan shirt with blue sweatpants, with her hair pulled up in a half up bun with ringlets. She was also walking with our friend, Cody Buckner. I joined their little pair, and we walked down the hall, being chased by crazy girls. (I am DEAD serious about this!) So we ran down the hallway, me being last (again, obviously) dodging various people. I almost had a smackdown with Melia's *crush*. His name will not be given, due to Melia's pride. They had hid in a little indent where the door to a classroom was, but when I tried to join them, they ran out again, so I slammed into Melia. I had really bad slamming-into-people-in-the-hallway problems today. So we were able to outrun 'em, and Melia and Cody went to the lunchroom, while I went to get my lunchbox in my locker. When I went in the lunchroom, I searched the lines, but couldn't find Melia, until I turned around in and she was right in front of me. Note to self: Remind me to go get laser eyes so I won't be embarrassed when my friends are right in front of my nose and I can't see them. I joined her and we talked, and then this girl named Bailey (who is also our friend) came up, sent her friends away so she could eat lunch with us, and joined me and Melia. Melia said she would be right back, and left me and Bailey talking. When Melia joined us with Cody, we all trooped outside to our usual spot underneath a certain tree. We sat down and dug in with our lunches. Melia always promises me her mashed potatoes if I have something good, because she doesn't like them. She only gets mashed potatoes because that lunch has the best desserts.
"Melia, can I have your mashed potatoes now?" I asked.
"Sure. Do you have any of those Yogo roller thingies?" she replied.
"No, but I have some Cheetos. You can have them."
"Okay," she said and scooched her tray over so I could eat her potatoes.
"Wow Liz....zy! Your like a pig today!" Cody exclaimed.
"So," I shot back, and started eating the potatoes again. Our conversation turned from pigs, to Suessical the Musical. I remembered when I went to go see our friend, McKena's production of Suessical, and I brought it up.
"I'm kinda glad that McKena didn't get the part...." I said. (Okay, I don't officially remember how this part went, so I'll try my best)
"She seemed to young," Melia agreed. We kept talking about Suessical and we sang some of their songs. Bailey was quiet the whole lunch.
"Bailey, what's wrong?" Melia asked.
"I'm fine," she said, and started picking at her gravy. When the bell rang, Bailey yelped, "Oh, CRAP! The bell!" and we ran inside. After school, Melia came on our bus (she goes on a different bus but her parents are in Hawaii, so she gets to go home with a different friend) and sat by me. "Lizzy, I have something to tell you," she said when the bus started.
"Okay, shoot," I said. Melia reminded me of our lunch, and got to the part when she, Cody, McKena, and Bailey were in English while I was in Math.
"Well, Bailey--"
"Started to cry!" I said dangerously.
"How do you know?" Melia asked.
"I guessed," I said sheepishly.
"Well, anyway, Bailey told McKena all that you said about her, except she said it worse (I think that's what Melia said....). So now McKena is mad at you. I stood up for you and told her that I have known you for 2-3 years, and that you've only gossiped 5 times at the most. That made Bailey get mad at me and you." Sheesh! When I got home, I was able to go and babysit and play this magic game with the babysat, Whitney and her sister who I just forgot who her name is, and Whitney's friend, Holly. They had this really nice princess dress, but it was too big for all of them, so I tried it on and it fitted me perfectly. I was happy. We ran outside wearing our dresses, and played until her mom called, saying that she would be coming home in 20 minutes. That babysitting job cheered me up!
Well, Ciao for now!
Lizzy
P.S. I solved the problem with McKena! It is May 12, 2008 at 4:46 pm.

CRT Testing

UGH!! CRT Testing is the WORST EVER!! I hate it! It has to be dead silent. Twitch. Quote of my English teacher, Miss McNeill "Which means no talking at ALL. Zip your lips!" Close quote. My goodness! I just practically fell asleep during those 30 minutes of testing! And tomorrow I have to take 2 more tests. Science (which, thankfully is on the computer) and math. Gotta love the math. I just hate it. But today in math was pretty fun. Since we only take testing on A-Days in math, and today was a B-Day, we got to watch Toy Story. But the down side was that we had to see what math was in the movie (find 2 examples!), and create a problem with math using the characters (make 2 problems!). Seriously! How could this day get any worse. Well, look who's talking! Its raining buckets outside and my friend has to play soccer in this gloomy weather. Now this day can't get any worse. Unless all of my family drops dead, but, I know THAT will never happen! Yet. When I came home from school, I watched the 100th episode of Dancing With the Stars, which is my all time favorite show EVER! Then I went on my couch wrapped up in a blanket, and enjoyed about 10 minutes in dreamland. Then the phone rang, which happened to be my best friend Melia. So that woke me up. I'm not that grumpy though, even though, sadly, I'm not hyper, which you should be shocked at right now.
Well, from a tired writer,
Lizzy
Ciao!

Getting to Know Me (and what happened today)

Hola everybody! My name is Elizabeth, but you can just call me Lizzy. Everybody does. Most of my teachers at school do too. Now, my parents call me Lizzy, but they used to call me Elizabeth. They only call me Elizabeth when they are SUPER mad, so I try to avoid getting them angry. I'm 12 going on to 13 on June 17th. I'm SO excited. Finally a teenager. My mom calls me Twinkie because I'm in the middle of the almost-being-a-teen years. It ticks me off so bad. Anyway, to what happened today.

I just got back from my second Voice Recital. No, its not about giving a speech in front of everybody. Its singing! I took voice about a year ago and this is only my second. I was really embarrassed when my teacher told me I was the second to perform, and then she said, 'We will have Liz come up and sing her song first! Okay?' I had NO idea what to say, so I obviously had to say yes. I couldn't say no to lots of people! My friend Chase (check out HER blog! Its qutequeen.blogspot.com. Go see it!) was there too, and she's sitting next to me right now while I am typing this. She just laughed. She's also over f0r dinner, which is great, because I'm having my FAVORITE things! (sorry about the caps, I like using them) Japanese Salad for the first part, and for dessert, eclairs! They are little pastries quite thin, filled with this delicious cream! I love 'em. So, take my advice about seeing Chase's blog! She's embarrassed.
Well, Ciao for now!
Lizzy
P.S. My friend Melia was supposed to come and sing to, but her parents went on vacation to HAWAII today! So she wasn't able to come to the recital. Sniff Sniff. I was sad.
